NOTABLES:

Last Time Out: The Bulldogs won their second straight last Saturday night, beating S.C. State 4-1 in a physical match-up at home. Goals came from sisters Emma and Caroline Houser, Gretchen Dettlinger and on a penalty kick by Rachel Snyder. The only goal allowed by Asheville keeper Keller Dixon came on a penalty shot.

Scouting NDSU: The Bison were picked as preseason favorites in the Summit League, but arrive in Asheville having lost their last two matches. Sophomore forward Holly Enderle leads NDSU with three goals in seven matches, while senior midfielder Amy Yang has three assists to go along with two goals.

Applying the Pressure: The Bulldogs unleashed 33 shots in last Thursday's victory. In their prior game, a 2-0 victory, the Bulldogs had seven shots on net, outshooting USC Upstate overall, 13-8.

QUOTABLES

"Friday's game is such a great opportunity for many reasons that will help us in our conference schedule. We will face another new and tough non-conference opponent that plays a different system. This will allow us an opportunity to see our on field leadership as well as how we respond to keeping the focus on our game plan while competing against a different system. There will come a time when we have to change things up and make adjusts in the run of play so tomorrow's game is good timing for us to have this experience. The players are incredibly invested in their own growth in addition to the program's growth so I am excited to watch them compete in Friday's game." -Asheville Head Coach Michelle Demko
