Men's and Women's Tennis Host Campbell in Saturday Doubleheader

ASHEVILLE– The UNC Asheville Men's and Women's tennis teams host Campbell University in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25.
The Women's match will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a picnic tailgate for friends, family and alumni beginning at 12:30 p.m. before the Men's match at 2:00 p.m.
NOTABLES
Bulldogs at Home: The women are 4-2 at home this season with a notable win over Longwood University to start conference play on Saturday, February 13.
The Men are 4-3 on their home court. The Bulldogs' victories include a win over Tennessee Tech earlier this season and a conference victory over Gardner-Webb University this past Wednesday.
Last Time Out: Asheville women are coming off of a (0-7) road loss to Coastal Carolina University on Sunday, March 20.
The men won their match (5-2) against the Runnin' Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb at the Asheville Racquet Club this past Wednesday. Asheville won the doubles point with victories on courts two and three, along with singles wins from Thomas Orestis-Panoulas (6-3, 6-1) Henry Patten (6-2,7-6), Josh Swindler (6-3, 6-4) and Brett Landau (6-4, 6-2) to give them their second conference win.
Head-To-Head: In the 2015 season, the women's team suffered a (1-6) loss to Campbell in Buies Creek. Senior Lauren Brooker secured the only point for the Bulldogs with a 6-3, 6-2 victory in flight six.
The men's team also struggled to contain the Camels. The Bulldogs fell (0-7) to Campbell on the Camels' home court.

-Following Saturday's match, the women will travel to Radford, Virginia to face the Highlanders of Radford University on Friday, April 1. The men's team will host Winthrop University at the Asheville Racquet Club on Friday April 1, at 2:00 p.m.
