Meet the Inaugural Women's Golf Team: Linna Brooks

The UNC Asheville Women's Golf team will become the Bulldogs' 16th sport when it tees off this fall. Head Coach Breanne Hall announced the inaugural Bulldog women's golf signing class last fall, signing the first four student-athletes in program history.
Let's meet Linna Brooks, a native of Winter Garden, Florida –
A state tournament qualifier three years in a row, Linna Brooks was a team captain for back-to-back metro and district champion teams at West Orange High School.

What I am looking forward to about playing college golf: Bringing my golf game to the next level. Getting to experience new things and have a team alongside me.
Why I chose UNC Asheville: Being able to start a new golf team. Asheville and the campus is beautiful. When I was younger my aunt and uncle would bring me to North Carolina a lot so being able to come back and go to school there just made sense.
