ASHEVILLE– The UNC Asheville Men's Tennis team was unable to close out the match against Presbyterian college as they suffered a 4-3 loss at home.
NOTABLES
-The Bulldogs powered through doubles play, with Alex Crocker and Brett Landau delivering a quick 6-3 win on court one, while the team of Henry Patten and Josh Swindler came up with a victory on court two (6-4). With the doubles point decided, the match on court three featuring Bulldogs, Reid Dillon and Thomas Orestis-Panouls did not finish.
-Asheville picked up momentum in singles play, with Patten winning on court two (6-1, 1-6, 6-2) to add another point to their total.
-The Bluehose responded with singles wins on courts one and three to stay even with the Bulldogs.
- Asheville's Panoulas came up with another win for Asheville on court three (6-3, 6-4), but it wasn't enough as PC took the final two courts to take the match 4-3.
