Meet the Inaugural Women's Golf Team: Rebecca Black

The UNC Asheville Women's Golf team will become the Bulldogs' 16th sport when it tees off this fall. Head Coach Breanne Hall announced the inaugural Bulldog women's golf signing class last fall, signing the first four student-athletes in program history.
Let's meet Rebecca Black, a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky –
A two-time All-State golfer in the state of Kentucky, Black was also earned All-State recognition three times as a soccer player at Elizabethtown High School. She was a Qualifier Medalist at the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournament in Owensboro, Kentucky and won the Low Qualifier Award at an AJGA event in Ashland, Kentucky. Black finished third in the Kentucky Junior Amateur and was also a participant in the North-South Junior Amateur tournament played in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
