CCSA Announces All-Academic Honorees

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association announced the 2015-2016 All-Academic Honorees this morning. These student-athletes have maintained a 3.0 GPA throughout the academic year.
UNC Asheville adds twenty-two swimmers to the CCSA's list of Honorees:
Haley Bennison, Galen Broido, Katherine Brown, Abigail Cassario, Elizabeth Conte, Carly Emerson, Reid Jackson, Shannon Kennedy, Alexandria Moon, Elizabeth Murray, Anna Catherine Nazemi, Emma Nelson, Erin Riggs, Morgan Rulevich, Alejandra Sanchez Garcia, Stephanie Smith, Allison Snyder, Hannah Stuart, Brittany Thomas, Alessandra Troncoso, Alexandra van Dorsten and Emily Werth.
“Having twenty-two student-athletes named as Conference All-Academic Honorees is a testament to the fortitude of this team. To successfully juggle academics as well as a rigorous swimming and practice schedule takes a lot of time management and planning. The team's emphasis on balancing the two priorities of a college student-athlete is to be applauded,” said Head coach Elizabeth Lykins.
The Bulldogs will begin day one of the 2016 CCSA Swimming and Diving Championships tomorrow, February 17 in Athens, Georgia.
