QUOTABLES FROM HEAD COACH BRENDA MOCK KIRKPATRICK

On Winthrop-"First of all, I would like to compliment Winthrop's total team effort tonight. They had great ball movement and determination, especially in the second half. They played hard and executed well."

On Looking Ahead- “Our team was in and out of sync this evening and we'd like to be more consistent down the stretch. We need to continue to focus on playing at a high level in all circumstances. We will learn from this opportunity and start getting ready for Coastal. Getting a road win is always a good thing in this league. Those are hard to come by."

UP NEXT

-Following tonight's game, Asheville will return home to Kimmel Arena to host Coastal Carolina University on Saturday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. for their annual Pink game where they will be raising money for breast cancer research.
