ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's basketball team will face the No. 5 ranked Kansas Jayhawks in Allen Fieldhouse this Friday night beginning at 8:00 p.m. (7 PM CT)

Last Time Out: Asheville is coming off a thrilling 64-58 mid-week victory over Furman on the road. Freshman guard, MaCio Teague had a very strong performance for the Bulldogs, having a career night, setting career highs in both points (22) and steals (4).
Off to a Strong Start: With the Bulldogs' mid-week triumph, they achieved a 3-2 start for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
Head to Head: Asheville trails Kansas in the head to head series, 0-3. The Bulldogs have never faced a Bill Self coached team. The last two times Asheville played Kansas in a season the Bulldogs went on to win the Big South regular season championship in one of the years, and won the conference tournament and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history the other time.
