ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Bulldog women's soccer team takes on the Presbyterian College Blue Hose at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Martin Stadium in Clinton, S.C.
NOTABLES:
Last Time Out: The Bulldogs lost at home to Campbell when the Camels got two late goals to overcome Asheville's 1-0 advantage. Senior forward Paige Trent tallied Asheville's lone goal, beating Campbell keeper Natalya Marcove in a one-on-one situation.
Scouting Presbyterian: The Blue Hose have lost four straight, including three Big South matches. Kelsey Yeager scored for Presbyterian in a 7-1 loss to Liberty on Saturday.
The Full 90 Minutes: Late goals have done the damage against the Bulldogs in two of their last three matches, all losses that were decided by one goal. To gain their first conference win and move up in the standings, the Bulldogs will need better results in the second half, where they have been outscored 14-11 over the season.
