GREENSBORO, N.C. – After two rounds and the first day of competition in the Starmount Forest Fall Classic, the UNC Asheville women's golf team is in ninth place with a total score of 652.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 325 in the first round and 327 in the second. William & Mary is just six strokes ahead of them in eighth place (648).
Asheville will begin their third and final round tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
NOTABLES
-Rebecca Black led the way for the Bulldogs with an overall score of 152 for the first two rounds. Her score places her seventh individually.
-Linna Brooks is competing individually in Greensboro, she posted a combined score of 172, an 86 in both rounds one and two.
