ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team fell to Campbell University (2-1) at home on Saturday despite an early Bulldog lead.

Neither team got on the board in the first half, with Asheville goalkeeper Keller Dixon making five saves in the first 45 minutes.

Shortly after the start of second half, Bulldog Paige Trent scored in a one-on-one situation with Campbell's keeper. She was assisted by Caroline Houser for the first goal for the game at the 45:52 mark.

Campbell came back and scored at the 61:52 mark.Camel Payton Ormsby found the net for Campbell with an assist from Callie Beckwith.The Camels sealed the match in the final 10 minutes of play with Ormsby scoring again in the 82nd minute. She was assisted by Christine Kindt.

NOTABLES

-Asheville had a total of 16 shots with eight shots on goal.

-Goalkeeper Keller Dixon had six saves in the match.

-Paige Trent had the most shots on goal for the Bulldogs with three.
