Women's Soccer Squad Hosts Winthrop for Senior Day Wednesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team will host the Winthrop Eagles this Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Greenwood Field, for what will be the Bulldogs' Senior Day.
NOTABLES:
Last Time Out: Asheville enters the match-up on a two game losing streak. The Bulldogs were most recently defeated 2-0 at Longwood this past Saturday.Â
Scouting Winthrop: The Eagles enter the matchup on a six match losing streak. Winthrop has allowed two or more goals in five straight matches. It has been over a month since the Eagles picked up a victory, a 3-2 win at home against Marist College on September 11.
Scoring Drought: Over the past month the Bulldogs have struggled to find the back of the net. Asheville has not produced more than one goal in seven straight matches.
Senior Day: The Bulldogs have two seniors on the squad this season: Bethany Spano and Paige Trent. The two seniors will be honored prior to the match.
