ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Bulldogs' women's soccer team will travel to face the Longwood Lancers this Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Longwood Athletics Complex.
NOTABLES:
Last Time Out: After two straight 1-0 conference shutout victories, Asheville dropped their match, 3-0, to Gardner-Webb at Greenwood Field on Wednesday night. Despite the score line, the Bulldogs outshot Gardner-Webb 22-12 throughout the match.
Scouting Longwood: The Lancers enter the matchup coming off of a 0-0 2OT draw against High Point. Longwood's goalkeeper, Maria Kirby, came up big for the Lancers providing seven saves, facing a total of 16 shots.
