ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Gardner-Webb at Greenwood Stadium in Asheville, N.C. on Wednesday night.

Gardner-Webb struck first when Samuelle Grove scored in the 17', assisted by Brandi Arey.  The Runnin' Bulldogs extended to a 2-0 lead minutes later when Eline Glamsland headed one past the keeper off a cross from Grove.

The Runnin' Bulldogs' Glamsland scored her second goal of the night in the 48'.  She once again found the back of the net using her head on a cross from Arey.

Despite 22 shots from the Bulldogs, Gardner-Webb would hold on for a 3-0 victory.

NOTABLES

-UNC Asheville outshot Gardner-Webb 22 to 12.

-Keller Dixon made three saves throughout the match.

-Paige Trent led the attack for the Bulldogs with three shots on the night.
