Time: Monday, October 10: tee times on #1 and #10, Tuesday, October 10 shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After the first day of competition in the Wofford Invitational, the UNC Asheville women's golf team is in ninth place with a total score of 323.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 323 in the first round. USC Upstate is just one strokes ahead of them in eighth place (322).
Asheville will begin their second and final round tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
NOTABLES
-Rebecca Black led the way for the Bulldogs with an overall score of 75 in the first round. Her score places her sixth individually.
-Linna Brooks is competing individually in Spartanburg, she posted an 83 in the first round.
UP NEXT
-Following competition in Spartanburg, the Bulldogs will travel to Cullowhee, N.C. to participate in the Western Carolina Invitational on Sunday, October 16, Monday, October 17, and Tuesday, October 18.
