ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team will look to bounce back from a Sunday afternoon road defeat when they return home on Wednesday night to host Presbyterian College in a Big South Conference matchup. Asheville fell 5-1 at Campbell on Sunday while Presbyterian is coming off of a 2-1 victory over Radford.
NOTABLES
-UNC Asheville sophomore Caroline Houser is fifth in the nation in assists per game ratio (0.8/per) and is fifth in the nation for total assists (8). Houser leads the Big South Conference in both categories.
-As a team, the Bulldogs are second in the country in shots on goal per game average. Asheville enters the weekend averaging 10.5 shots per match.
-The Bulldogs are ranked 15 nationally in total shots per game (18.8/per average). Asheville is second in the BSC in the statistic behind national leader Radford's 20.89 shots per game average.
