QUOTABLES FROM HEAD COACH BRENDA MOCK

On the Win- “Obviously very proud of another team win tonight. It was pretty obvious towards the end of the game that we still have some things to work on defensively and rebounding-wise. But, I'm really proud of our girls having three great days of prep and practice and executing that game plan tonight against a really good team.”

On Containing Mason- “We keyed in on (Lucy) Mason, we had to, she's the nation's third leading scorer. We had a game plan that we would help off of some other players, and make some other people score against us. I was pretty pleased with that until the fourth quarter, she got loose a couple of times and we didn't contest her shots.”

On Coastal- “It will be another major test for us on the road. We're opening the (Big South Conference) season with five of six games on the road, so one at a time obviously, but we are excited about that. We were already talking about it in the post-game huddle, we need to get ready for Coastal.”

UP NEXT

-Following tonight's win, the Bulldogs jump back into conference play on Monday at 7:00 p.m. when they travel to Myrtle Beach to play Coastal Carolina in their second conference game of the year.
