GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's swimming team saw a second consecutive day of great individual performances on Saturday at the All-North Carolina Invitational as the Bulldogs totaled 747 points over the two days and finished seventh overall.
NOTABLES
-The 400 Free Relay team finished in sixth place with a time of 3:35.02 – just three seconds off of the program record (Rulevich – 52.73, van Dorsten – 52.83, Woolfe – 54.88, Sanchez – 54.57).
-In the 200 Free, Ale Sanchez finished with a time of 1:56.41.
-Morgan Rulevich finished ninth in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:07.96.
-In the 100 Backstroke, Sanchez finished 10th (59.48) and Jessica Woolfe was 13th (1:00.09).
-Galen Broido turned in a time of 17:31.51 in the mile to finish second, while teammate Allie Snyder's time of 18:11.94 placed her ninth.
-In the 100 IM, a new NCAA event, Rulevich finished ninth with a time of 1:01.17 and Woolfe finished with a time of 1:02.83 and finished 14th.
-Rulevich's 200 Breaststroke time of 2:24.08 gave the freshman a fifth place finish.
-The Bulldogs' 'A' Free Relay team posted a time of 3:35.02, just three seconds off the program record. Rulevich led off the relay with a time of 52.74, just a half second off of the program record.
