QUOTABLES

“We cannot keep giving goals away to teams. It's disappointing to watch that unfold knowing when that happens we are the ones digging the hole deeper for ourselves, not our opponents. The great news is we are competing with every team, creating chances and scoring goals when we have not been playing consistently good soccer. To be pressing the top teams when we haven't been at our best is a graet place to be in for growth. This team has so much potential in them. I know our best days of soccer are still ahead of us. With each opportunity, we continue to get better and that's exactly where we want to be this time of year. The challenge is to now make teams earn everything they try and take from us by increasing our awareness and competitive mentality consistently. Lots of good things lay ahead for this team this season and that is exciting to think about.” - Fifth-year head Coach Michelle Demko

UP NEXT

-The Bulldogs conclude their two-game road trip on Wednesday, Oct. 21, traveling to Orangeburg, S.C., to take on non-conference opponent South Carolina State.  Asheville is back home at Greenwood Field Oct. 24 to take on Longwood at 4:30 p.m.
