Lily Brown Named Big South Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville freshman goalkeeper Lily Brown has been named the Big South Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

 

Brown turned in a pair of great performances in net for Asheville last week, recording two wins in 180 minutes played. The freshman finished with 10 saves in the Bulldogs' 1-0 victory against Charleston Southern and then notched five saves at Radford on Saturday.

 

Brown and the rest of the Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday night when they host High Point at 7:00 p.m. at Greenwood Field.
