QUOTABLES

“This was a game of pure competitive mentality. They are a very direct team, so we knew going into the match that we were going to have to roll our sleeves up and get in the mix physically. Our goal was to match their energy and try to overwhelm them with our communication and organization. Sometimes the games aren't going to be pretty but matters is we remained focused on what we needed to do to unbalance them and were able to get the go-ahead goal. That's a team that is resilient. I am proud of their fight and relentlessness.” - Head Coach Michelle Demko
