Paige Trent Named BCBSNC Athlete of the Week

Junior women's soccer player Paige Trent is this week's Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Athlete of the Week at UNC Asheville.
Each week the school selects a BCBSNC Athlete of the Week upon their performance from the previous week's action.
Paige scored twice for the Bulldogs on Saturday as Asheville rallied for a 2-2 tie at Presbyterian College. The Blue Hose jumped out to a 1-0 lead before Trent tied the match late in the first half.
In the second, PC went up 2-1 with an early goal in the 46th minute. Paige then scored with five seconds left in regulation to knot the match at 2-2. The draw kept the Bulldogs unbeaten on the road this season at 3-0-1. Asheville's 6-3-1 record is its best at this point of the season since 2006.
Paige and the Bulldogs have two key Big South Conference matches this week on the road. Asheville travels to defending BSC champion Liberty on Wednesday and then heads to Charleston Southern Saturday afternoon.
