ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team continued its torrid start to the 2013 season with a dominating 7-0 victory over visiting North Carolina A&T Thursday afternoon at the ARC.

 

The Bulldogs raised their record to 9-3 on the season, the best mark for an Asheville women's tennis program in more than 10 years.

 

Asheville dominated the match from start to finish. They won all six singles matches in straight sets with the Bulldogs winning three matches without losing a game.

 

The Blue & White cruised in doubles action as they only lost two games in three matches. Asheville is 30-4 in doubles matches this year.

 

The Bulldogs go on the road for their next two matches as Asheville travels to Big South Conference rivals Coastal Carolina on Saturday and Charleston Southern on Sunday.
