Women's Soccer Hosts Citadel in Spring Soccer Debut

ASHEVILLE, N.C - The UNC Asheville women's soccer team will make its spring debut on Saturday when the Bulldogs host The Citadel at Greenwood Field starting at 1 p.m. Admission is free.

 

The spring match is the first of six dates Asheville will play. The Citadel is from the Southern Conference.

 

The Bulldogs finished last season with a 5-13-0 overall record but did win two of their final three matches. Asheville returns its top six scorers from last season, including all-conference selection Kaitlyn Eckert. She finished with 11 goals and nine assists lats year.

 

Following the match, the men's team will make its spring debut vs. Montreat at 3 p.m.
