CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Milan Ristic set a new school record in the 110 Hurdles and finished in first place, while Meredith Foster won the high jump by tying a school record to highlight UNC Asheville's performance at the Beynon Sports Surfaces Catamount Classic on Saturday. 

Ristic is enjoying a sensational sophomore and set yet another record in the 110 Hurdles on Saturday. His time of 14.10 is the new school mark, breaking his old record.

Foster won the high jump event for the first time in her short career. The sophomore won the event with school-tying leap of 1.65 meters.

Other Asheville highlights on Saturday included Sarah Gentry taking third in the 400 meters with a time of 57.65. That's the third best time in school history. 

Molly Harkavy finished third in the 400 Hurdles as she posted a time of 1:06.23. Melanie Kulesz placed fifth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:47.64 Ashlei Clodfelter took a fourth-place finish in the javelin (37.30 meters), while Alyska Kalmeijer finished sixth in the 800 meters (2:20.23).

Corey McClintock had an impressive showing in the hammer throw at 43.84 meters. The throw was the third longest in school history. The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Sarah Gentry, Molly Harkavy, Emily Pineda and Alyska Kalmeijer finished in fourth place at a time of 4:10.94.

Highlights on the men's side included a new school record in the hammer throw. Kurt Hibert finished in fourth place as he posted a throw of 54.47 meters.Delano Loritts continued his good work this year in the triple jump. His leap of 13.31 meters is the third highest in school history.

The Bulldogs are back in action again on Friday at the Raleigh Relays.
