Women's Soccer on the Road This Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's soccer team is back on the road this weekend for a pair of matches against Southern Conference opponents in the mountains.

The Bulldogs (0-4-0) travel to Cullowhee to face Western Carolina Friday night at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, Asheville journeys to Appalachian State to take on the Mountaineers at 1 p.m.

Both matches promise to be tough ones for Asheville. The Catamounts are 3-1-1 and coming off a 1-1 tie at Big East foe Cincinnati. ASU is much improved this year and has a 2-3-0 worksheet.

The Bulldogs fell to Wofford last Sunday, 5-0. Asheville controlled parts of the match as it out-shot the Terriers, 21-12.
