Natalie Pearson Qualifies for 200 Meters Finals

BLOOMINGTON, IND. - Senior sprinter Natalie Pearson qualified for the finals of the 200 meters with an impressive result at the Division I East Preliminary Round at the University of Indiana Friday evening.

Pearson finished second in her heat and posted a time of 23.99. She finished 12th overall.

The senior sprinter will run Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. Pearson hopes to be one of the top 12 finishers and earn a repeat trip to the NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa in two weeks.

"Natalie did a solid job today," stated Bulldog coach Jesse Norman. "She'll be ready tomorrow to give a great effort and we will see what happens.
