BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Gardner-Webb won a close doubles point and then claimed five singles matches to post a 6-1 Big South Conference victory over visiting UNC Asheville Wednesday afternoon in Big South Conference men's tennis action.
The Bulldogs lone victory on the day came from Matt Waissen at #2 flight. He defeated Andrew Veeder, 7-6, 7-5.
Asheville plays next on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Coastal Carolina at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center
