Women's Tennis Edged by Radford, 4-3

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Radford won three singles matches and earned the doubles point as the Highlanders edged UNC Asheville 4-3 in Big South Conference women's tennis action Saturday afternoon at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs battled hard on Saturday but lost two singles matches in three sets to allow Radford to get the conference win. Asheville earned singles wins from Stephanie Schon, Devon Cavanaugh and Nicole Schon in straight sets to get the Bulldogs close.

Radford won two out of the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. Britney Cloer and Devon Cavanaugh won at #2 doubles.

The Bulldogs are back in action at home on Tuesday afternoon when they host mountan rival Western Carolina
