Men's Tennis Plays at Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team competed last weekend at the Wofford Invitational. The Bulldogs competed in the tournament along with Appalachian State, Furman and Wofford.
Asheville took on each team throughout the weekend and lost 4-2 to Appalachian State and Wofford. The Bulldogs tied Furman 3-3. Asheville was missing some key players due to injuries and gave all three opponents good matches.
"We battled pretty well at Wofford," commented Asheville coach Lise Gregory. "We're not 100 percent healthy at this time but overall we posted some good wins and competed quite well."
