ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville captured the doubles point but High Point won five singles matches en route to a 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs in Big South Conference men's tennis action Tuesday afternoon.
UNC Asheville got a singles win from Nicholas Thuell in three sets but lost three matches in three sets to the Panthers. The doubles point was gained by the number two flight of Tyler Begg and Nathan White and number three flight of Damien Snare and Thuell winning their matches.
The Bulldogs are on the road this weekend with two league matches. Asheville plays at Liberty on Saturday at 1 p.m. and defending Big South champ Radford Sunday, also at 1 p.m.
