Baseball Opens Season against Virginia Tech on Friday

Saturday Baseball Pushed Back to 3 p.m.

ASHEVILLE, N.C.? Saturday afternoon's baseball game between UNC Asheville and Liberty has been pushed back an hour and will begin at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Field.

The Bulldogs took a 9-0 victory over the Flames on Friday before the rains came Friday evening. Thunderstorms are expected the move out of the Asheville area Saturday afternoon. The extra hour gives the field a chance to dry.

Michael Bogaert (4-3, 1.98 ERA) will pitch for Asheville against Clarence Nicely (3-1, 4.86 ERA) for Liberty. The game can be heard live in uncabulldogs.com beginning at 2:50 p.m.
