Men's Tennis Drops 5-2 Decision at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA. - UNC Asheville got singles wins from Mauricio Correa and Damien Snare but Liberty posted four singles wins and earned the doubles points to record a 5-2 Big South Conference men's college tennis win Saturday afternoon.
Correa easily won his match over Chad Simpson at the #1 flight, 6-4, 6-4. Snare, playing at #4, downed Rafael Riso, 6-3, 6-4. However, the Flames won three matches in three sets to earn the victory over the Bulldogs. Asheville's top doubles team of Joseph May and Correa won their match, 8-2 over Sebastian Pena and Riso.
The Bulldogs finish Big South play Sunday at Radford starting at 1 p.m. Asheville plays its final home match of the year against Brevard Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
