ASHEVILLE, N.C. ? Miguel Pinzon scored early in the second half as Gardner-Webb edged UNC Asheville, 2-1 in Big South Conference men's soccer action at Greenwood Field Wednesday afternoon.
The home team got a goal from freshman Bryan George in the 12th minute to take a 1-0 but the Runnin' Bulldogs rallied with a goal in each half to pick up the victory.

The home team made a great charge in the final 10 minutes and just missed tying it up off the foot of freshman Bryan Bartels. Bartels was five yards in front of the goal and was able to get two shots. One shot was blocked and the second was stopped by GWU goalkeeper Dane Geraci with eight minutes remaining.
