Women's Soccer Set to Host Western Carolina Wednesday Afternoon on TV

The Bulldogs opened the season with a 1-0 overtime victory over Tennessee Tech at home on Sunday.
“Overall, we played pretty well on Sunday,” admitted UNC Asheville coach Michele Cornish. “I thought our defense did a solid job, and we did some good things going forward. However, we had some chances to put the ball into the back of the net and didn't do it.”
UNC Asheville faces a stern test against
WCU has won the last two meetings between the teams, including a 3-0 shutout last year in Cullowhee. The Lady Catamounts won the SoCon in 2005 and advanced to the College Cup.
