The Bulldogs were ready from the start in this one as Busha scored the second fastest goal in UNC Asheville history when she scored unassisted at the 34-second mark.
The junior forward tallied again at the 39:14 mark when she headed in a shot off a pass from McKenna Stockhausen to pad the lead to 2-0.
In the second half, Busha scored at the 72:11 mark to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 advantage.
Barrow tallied her first goal of the year off a corner kick. Juliana Duncan was credited with an assist on the play at the 74:54 mark.
The Bulldogs completed the scoring in the 89th minute when freshman Katy Beeler scored her second goal of the season.
Asheville out-shot VMI, 24-7. The shutout was shared by Veronica Lazar and Shanna Brown. Lazar made four saves in the first half.
UNC Asheville plays its final home game this Wednesday afternoon when the Bulldogs host
