ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Mauricio Correa defeated Andrew Taylor 6-4, 6-4 at number six singles to lead UNC Asheville to a 4-3 men's tennis victory over Appalachian State at the UNCA Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
UNC Asheville got singles victories from Correa, Julien Vulliez, Rob Nunnery and Adam Branks to overcome dropping the doubles point defeating App. State 4-3 for the second consecutive season.
The Bulldogs improve to 14-4 on the season and will wrap up the regular season on Sunday at they host Coastal Carolina at 1 p.m. at the UNCA Tennis Center.
