ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team's match with UNC Greensboro was cancelled in the middle of the match due to rain and sleet that hit the Asheville area Friday afternoon.

The Spartans had won the doubles point and led 1-0. The teams were in the middle of their six singles matches before rain and sleet came down and forced the match to be cancelled.

Incoming weather for the Asheville area on Saturday has forced some changes to the UNCA-Coastal Carolina match. The women's match will be moved to the Asheville Racquet Club and will start at 3 p.m., while the men's match with the Chanticleers has been moved to Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at the UNCA Tennis Center.

Another change for the men's team has been announced. The UNCA-Radford match that was postponed last week will be played on Sunday, March 27 at 1 p.m. at the UNCA Tennis Center.
