Former UNC Asheville captain Bobby Castro has returned to the Bulldogs as the Director of Soccer External Operations. A forward from 2010-2013, Castro was a two-tear captain. Off the field, he was an outstanding student who earned a spot last fall on the Capital One Academic All-District 3 Men’s Soccer Division I team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

 

Prior to his time in Asheville, Castro prepped at Middle Creek High School in Raleigh, N.C., where he helped lead the team to three state playoff appearances and was named an All-Conference and All-Region player as a senior.
