Bailey Betzer was announced as UNC Asheville's new Assistant Coach on June 12, 2025. She works primarily with the divers.Â

Betzer comes to Asheville after a five-year career as a Division I diver, spending four years at Indiana State and one year at fellow Atlantic Sun Conference institution Florida Gulf Coast.Â

In her one season in Fort Myers, Betzer finished her career with the seventh all-time best 3-meter score (273.20) in program history. She ranks nth in the record books on 1-meter (266.90). where she was a NCAA Zone B participant on 1-meter with a score of 211.00 She secured a podium finish in both 1-meter and 3-meter placing third at the 2024-25 ASUN Championships, while also up a first-place finish in the B final on 1-meter (266.90) at the Phil Hansel Invitational. At the Eagle Invite she placed first on 1-meter (212.45) and second on 3-meter (173.10). In four years at Indiana State, she was a 2022-23 All-Conference selection and a 2021-22 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team honoree.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Medicine from Indiana State (2024).
