Overview: One of the top liberos in the Big South Conference…hard-working player who has improved with each season and will compete for All-Conference honors as a senior…very good student who made Dean’s List in spring semester and has been member of Big South Presidential Honor Roll for three straight years.
2012: Led Bulldogs in digs with 3.65 per set…posted double-figure digs in 14 of Asheville’s final 15 matches…had 29 digs with three service aces in Bulldogs’ Big South Tournament quarterfinal win over High Point (11-15)…registered 15 digs and three services aces the next day vs. Coastal Carolina (11-16) in semifinals…earned spot on Big South All-Tournament team for her play…career-high of 35 digs with three service aces came in home win over Charleston Southern (10-19)…posted 33 digs in five-set victory over Presbyterian College (11-2)…had double figures in digs during 20 matches…second on team in service aces (0.18)…eighth in the Big South in digs.
2011: Third on team in digs with 265 (2.50 per set)...second on club in service aces with 28...played outside hitter due to injuries vs. Winthrop (10-8) and delivered solid performance with six kills...had career-best six service aces with 19 digs in home win over Presbyterian College (10-7)...career-best 20 digs came vs. Liberty (11-12)...posted 18 digs and four aces in road win at Coastal Carolina (10-21)...had 13 digs and three aces in first match of the year vs. Troy (8-26)...registered at least 10 kills in 12 different matches.
2010: Second on team in service aces with 26 and 0.23 per set average...fourth on club in digs with a 2.56 mark...posted double-figure digs in 13 different matches...career-best 21 digs came in home victory over Big South champion High Point (10-29)...had 20 digs at Winthrop (10-9)...had season-high three services aces in home win against Coastal Carolina (9-24)...had 15 digs during home victory vs. Winthrop.
Before UNC Asheville: Part of a great program at North Iredell...led school to unbeaten season and 3-A state championship as a junior...senior season was honored as the County Player of the Year, Conference Player of the Year and Piedmont Player of the Year...also named team MVP...named first team All-Conference and All-County following junior year...played club for IC Stars.
