Dan joined Mission Sports Medicine in October of 2018 and came to UNCA in February of 2021. He works primarily with the women’s soccer and baseball teams at UNCA.
Prior to Asheville, Dan has worked in several states with athletes of all ages, most recently at Glynn Academy High School in Brunswick, Georgia and with the Macon Mayhem, Charlotte Checkers and Arizona Sundogs minor league professional ice hockey teams. He has been fortunate to be a part of 2 championship teams while working in minor league hockey, winning championships with the Arizona Sundogs in 2008 and with the Macon Mayhem in 2017.
A native of Rochester, NY, you can find him cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Dan also enjoys playing golf and exploring the breweries and mountains of Western North Carolina with his wife, Ellen.
