Overview: One of two seniors on this year’s roster but only player who has been with the Bulldogs for four years...excellent leader who will serve as team captain...very good doubles player...will be in the singles line-up this season, as well...excellent student.

2007: Went 5-5 in doubles action and split two matches at #6 flight...produced 4-3 Big South Conference record in doubles play.

2006: Produced 6-6 record in singles play at #5 flight and also played at #4 and #6 singles flight...played with four different doubles partners throughout the year and in all three flights.

2005: Reserve on a veteran team that went 14-5 and advanced to the semi-finals of Big South Tournament...participated in four matches during the year.

Before UNC Asheville: Graduated from Saranac Lake HS in New York in 2002 before spending two years training at the Steve Smith Tennis Academy in Tampa...enjoyed a good career at Saranac Lake as he went 33-3 in league play...was a perfect 14-0 during conference play as a senior and won a conference championships...earned a spot in the New York High School state championship tournament as a junior and senior...also lettered in soccer in high school.

Coach Gregory Says: "Nicholas will serve as our captain this year. He is a solid guy who is very mature and will be a great leader. We’ll look for him to contribute in singles and be a key player in doubles."
