Overview: Talented middle distance runner who has picked up points for the Bulldogs in her career…versatile runner who can do a lot of different events.
2016 Outdoor: In her final season with the Bulldogs, Lashway has competed in a number of events, ranging from the 400m to the 1500m. She recorded a personal best time of 1:00.27 in the 400m dash at the Georgia Tech Invitational in her first open 400m of the year. In the 800m, Alyssa is ranked 8th in the Big South with a time of 2:14.88 headed into the Championships. In the big South Championships Aylssa ranked 7th with a personal best of 2:13.57 in the 800m.
2015-16 Indoor: Indoors, Lashway competed in the 800m, 1,000m, mile, 4x400m Relay and the Distance Medley Relay. At the Conference Championships, she ran the 800m leg of the All-Conference Distance Medley relay that placed second with a time of 12:04.83. That time also give the quartet the Asheville program record. In the open events, Lashway recorded a personal best 800m indoor time of 2:15.37, also at the Big South Championships.
2015 Outdoor: Strong mid-distance runner for the bulldogs continued the season running 800 meters, 1500 meters, and 4x 400 meters..running a season best of 1:03.42 in the 400 meters dash at Coastal Carolina (3-14)...2:14.47 in 800 meters at APP State Open Outdoor Meet (5-2)..ran a season best of 5:55.96 in the 1500 meters at Catamount Classic (4-10)...competed in the 800 meters at the Big South Outdoor Championship.
2014-15 Indoor: Coming back for a strong season of six meets...mainly competing in the 4 x 400meter relay, and 800 meters...started the season with a season best of 3:11.47 in the 1000 meters at the JDL College Kick-Off Classic (12-6)... ran a season best of 2:21.30 in the 800 at the Big South Indoor Conference (2-26) and 4 x 400 meter relay with a team time of 4:01.74
2014 Outdoor: Took part in the 400, 800 and 1,500 meters and also participated in 4x400 and 4x800 relay races…earned the Bulldogs points at the Big South Championship with a fifth-place finish in the 800 meters at a time of 2:18.36 (4-17)…top time in the 400 meters came at Coastal Carolina with mark of 1:03.42 (3-14)…ran the 1,500 meters at 49er Classic and recorded a time of 5:02.23 (3-20)…ran in the 4x400 relay and helped Asheville pick up a point at Big South meet (4-17) with time of 4:01.84
2013-14 Indoor: Ran in the 400 and 800 meters…season-best in the 400 meters came at Tar Heel Opener (1-25) with mark of 104.17…finished sixth at Big South Conference meet (2-28) in the 800 with time of 2:18.17 (2-28)…helped 4x400 relay team earn points at Big South Meet with time of 3:56.72.
2013 Outdoor: Posted a season-best time of 1:01.57 in the 400 meters at 49er Classic (2-14)…recorded mark of 2:20.41 at Duke Invitational (4-5) in 800 meters…4x400 relay team posted time of 4:03.15 (4-18) at Big South Championships.
2012-13 Indoor: Top time in the 800 meters at Big South Meet (2-21) at 2:20.40…helped 4x400 relay team have mark of 4:02.07 at Big South (2-21).
Before UNC Asheville: Attended Robinson HS in Concord, N.C….placed second in the 800 meters at the 3-A Western Regional with time of 2:22.21.
