Bo Barber is in his first season as Video Coordinator for UNC Asheville Men’s Basketball.
A Birmingham, Alabama native, Barber was a team captain and won a state championship at Mountain Brook High School before continuing his collegiate playing career at Spring Hill College, where he also served as a team captain and set multiple assist program records. He later joined Gardner-Webb at the Division I level, serving as a graduate assistant and video coordinator before being added to the roster mid-season.
Barber earned his undergraduate degree in Financial Economics from Spring Hill College and his MBA from Gardner-Webb University. His unique experience as both a player and staff member at the Division I level has helped prepare him for his role at UNC Asheville and his continued pursuit of a career in college coaching.
