Fall 2021 Season (Senior) - As a senior, Nichols appeared in six races for Asheville...Her top 5K time came at the 2021 Big South Cross Country Championships where she finished 42nd with a time of 20:00.3...She also cracked the 21-minute mark at the Louisville Classic in early October clocking in at 20:43.3...Wrapped up her season at the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships where she placed 198th with a time of 24:24.1.
Spring 2021 Season (Junior) - During the unique spring cross country season, Nichols ran in all three races for Asheville...Her top finish of the spring came at the Highlander Invitational where she placed 24th with a time of 21:53.4...Also appeared in her third Big South Cross Country Championships of her career...Nichols placed 56th with a time of 22:56.8 at the conference meet.
2019 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Nichols appeared in five cross country races...After placing a season-best third at the Montreat-UNCA Dual in mid-September, Nichols followed that up by notching a personal-best time in a 5K run clocking in at 18:41.5 at the Louisville Classic in early October...For the second consecutive season, Nichols ran in both the Big South Cross Country Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships for Asheville...At the Big South race, Nichols placed 23rd with a time of 19:18.4...At the NCAA's 6K race, Nichols clocked in at 23:38.5 placing her 203rd.
2018 Season (Freshman) - Nichols appeared in five cross country races during her first season as a Bulldog in 2018...She made her collegiate cross country debut on August 31, 2018 at the Covered Bridge Cross Country Open Meet...In her first collegiate race, Nichols logged a time of 19:29.3 in a 5K race that placed her 48th...Nichols followed that by placing a season-best sixth at the UNCA Cross Country Invitational with a time of 19:44.9...As a freshman, Nichols also competed at the Big South Cross Country Championships where she finished 21st with a time of 19:45.4...Nichols ran for Asheville at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships where she clocked in at 23:40.0 in the 6K race.
