2023 Season (Senior) - Competed in one race in 2023, earning a 97th place finish in the 8k at the 2023 Upstate Invitational (26:19.5).
2022 Season (Junior) - Core took part in six races for Asheville in 2022...His top finish came at the Winthrop Invitational where he finished eighth with a time of 26:39.0...Set a new personal-best 8K time at the Louisville Classic clocking in at 25:24.7...Finished 30th at the Big South Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:20.1...Ran for the Bulldogs at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships where he placed 132nd with a time of 32.48.6.
2021 Season (Sophomore) - Core competed in a pair of races during the 2021 fall cross country season...He made his debut as a Bulldog at the Fire Tower Open in mid-September with a time of 28:04.0...Core's other appearance came at the Big South Cross Country Championships where he topped his other 8K time on the season by clocking in at 27:13.8.
Spring 2021 Season (Freshman) - Core did not appear in any cross country races for the Bulldogs during the spring season in 2021.
Prior to UNC Asheville - Core was an All-Conference and All-State selection in high school and was also a conference champion...His brother Preston also competes for the Bulldogs...His Father is a former track & field athlete at West Virginia.
