Fall 2021 Season (Senior) - In the fall of 2021, Evans appeared in six races for Asheville...Her top finish came at the Upstate Invitational in mid-October where she logged a time of 19:44.1 in a 5K race...Her top 5K time during the fall season occurred at the Fire Tower Open in Boone, N.C. where she clocked in at 19:13.2...Closed out the season by competing at both the Big South Cross Country Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships...At the Big South meet, Evans placed 28th with a time of 19:17.6...At the regional meet, Evans logged a new personal-best time in a 6K race clocking in at 23:55.2.
Spring 2021 Season (Junior) - During the unique spring season in 2021, Evans ran in all three of the team's races...Her top finish in the spring came at the Highlander Invitational where she ranked 16th with a time of 19:55.4...Evans also repeated her finish from 2019 Big South Cross Country Championships coming in 38th-place again during the 2021 Spring edition...However, she did improve her time to 19:55.6 compared to 20:04.8 in 2019, while also setting a new personal-best 5K time with that effort.
2019 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Evans competed in five cross country races for the Bulldogs...Her top finish as a sophomore came at the Big South Cross Country Championships where she logged a time of 20:04.8, which ranked 38th in the field...Also ran for Asheville at the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships where she clocked in at 24:01.8 in the 6K race.
2018 Season (Freshman) - Evans appeared in a pair of cross country meets for Asheville during her freshman season in 2021...She made her debut as a Bulldog at the UNCA Cross Country Invitational on September 21...Finished 39th in that meet with a time of 22:19.4...Also appeared at the Montreat Open...She placed 10th in that 3K run with a time of 11:52.0.
Before UNC Asheville - Was part of state championship-winning 4x800 relay team ... Two-time team captain for track and field and also served one year as captain of cross country team ... Three-time MVP for track and field and cross country ... Was named the North Shore Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
