2023-24 Season (Fifth Year) - In his final season as a Bulldog, Stephney played in all 34 games and made two starts…He logged in 592 minutes, averaging 17.4 per game… He shot 42 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from 3-point range…Finished the season with 138 points, 63 rebounds, 50 assists and 30 steals…Stephney had back-to-back perfect shooting games on Jan. 13 and Jan. 18…He was 3-for-3 from 3-point range in both games, and went 8-for-8 between both games from the charity stripe…Scored 15 points on Jan. 13 and 11 points on Jan. 18 for two of his three double-digit scoring games…Finished his career at No. 1 in program and league history in games played with 151…Checks in at No. 5 in program history in steals with 187.
2022-23 Season (Senior) - Stephney has played in 34 games games for the Bulldogs in 2022-23...Despite coming off the bench for most of the season, Stephney still led the team with 36 steals...Recorded a season-high seven steals vs. Dayton on December 10...Scored in double figures in three games this season. Scored 10 points in the season-opening win over UCF...Netted a season-high 11 points vs. Eastern Kentucky in late November...Matched that 11-point effort vs. UT Martin in early December...Shot a career-best 36.2 percent from beyond the arc in 2022-23.
2021-22 Season (Junior) - Stephney started in 31 of 32 games for Asheville during the 2021-22 campaign...The Knoxville native ranked second on the team in terms of minutes played (975)...Serving as Asheville's primary starting point guard, Stephney averaged 7.2 points and 3.3 rebounds...Was second on the team with 108 assists and paced the Bulldogs with 55 steals...His 55 steals also led all Big South players and ranked 82nd nationally...Dished out a season-high seven assists vs. The Citadel on December 1...His top scoring effort as a junior was 13 points on three separate occasions...Arguably his most complete effort of the season came on January 13 vs. Winthrop where he scored 13 points, totaled six steals, four rebounds, and dished out four assists.
2020-21 Season (Sophomore) - Averaged 9.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game...Ranked second on the team in assists (62), steals (28) and minutes (29.8)...Shot 41.3 percent from the floor...Totaled 66 rebounds, 6 steals...Scored in double figures 11 times...Led team with 14 points in opener against Wilmington, 13 points in victory at Winthrop...Dished out assist in all but one game, totaling four or more six times.

Prior to UNC Asheville - Joined the UNC Asheville men's basketball program out of Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tenn. ... Was an All-State and All-Region selection during his senior season ... Scored 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting in the AAA state championship game to lead Bearden to its first-ever state title.
