Overview: UNC Asheville’s top scorer returning from last year...moved into the starting line-up last year in the front-court and was a key player for the Bulldogs great season...set a school record by hitting 27 straight free throws early in the year...last name in pronounced “August”...excellent scorer who can score in transition and knock down a three-pointer...can play either forward spot or in the backcourt.
2007-08: One of only three players to start and play in all 33 games for the Bulldogs...fourth leading scorer with 10.6 average and second in rebounding with 4.9 mark...did a nice job with his shooting as he shot 50.2 percent (123-245) from the field...second on the team in free throw shooting at 80.5 percent...career-high of 21 points came at High Point (2-13) and in home victory over Charleston Southern (2-23) where he went 10-of-14 from the field...had great game at Ohio State in NIT (3-18) with team-high 20 points and eight rebounds...tallied 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 7-of-7 free throw shooting in victory at Western Carolina (11-20)...scored 19 points during home win over Campbell (12-13)...pumped in 16 points and hit game-tying free throws in home victory over Buffalo (12-29)...had 11 points and career-high seven assists in home win over Brevard (11-13)...scored in double figures in 16 games and led team five times...went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc at Ohio State (3-18)...began his school-record of 27 straight free throws in first game of the year against Furman (11-9) and did not miss for more than a month before missing against Campbell (12-13).
2006-07: Played in all 31 games and started eight times...fifth leading scorer with 6.3 average...fourth on team in three-pointers made with 17...started the season on great note with career-high 15 points against Montreat as he went 5-of-10 from the field and 5-of-7 from free throw line...grabbed career-best six rebounds in that game...tied career-high of 15 points at Radford later in the season as he went 6-of-9 from the field...produced 13 points in two different games...tallied 13 at South Carolina State when he went 5-of-9 from field and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc...13 points at High Point with 4-of-6 shooting from the field...played very well down the stretch for the Bulldogs as he scored in double figures in four of the last eight games...pumped in 11 points and sank crucial three-pointer in comeback win at Coastal Carolina...hit another key trey late in game during win at Charleston Southern two days later...scored 12 points during home win over Brevard.
2005-06: Named Big South Rookie of the Week in December when he scored 13 points in home victory over Brevard...tallied 10 points in two games, including loss at Western Carolina and key league road win at Radford...scored eight points at defending NCAA champion UNC Chapel Hill...played season-high 26 minutes and scored five points with two rebounds and two assists at Coastal Carolina...had six points and career-high four assists in road victory at Liberty...scored six points and grabbed four rebounds against Lenior-Rhyne...went 5-of-10 from field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc against Brevard...was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line at Radford...was hurt late in the season and didn't play much in final four games of the season.
Before UNC Asheville: All-time leading scorer at Benedictine as he finished his career with 1,593 points...earned Best Offensive Player honors both his junior and senior seasons... averaged 21.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game as a senior on his way to 1st Team All-Metro Richmond honors and 1st Team All-State honors for the second straight year.
